Sticklepath Heritage Group (part of Sticklepath Village Website)  The group aims ‘to research and preserve the heritage and history of Sticklepath and the surrounding area and promote an understanding of the character of the district’.

This fantastic One Name Study for the Mallett family is highly recommended. Sticklepath boasts many Malletts!

The South Tawton Facebook Group is very active and willing to share knowledge about ancestors in South Tawton and surrounding villages including Sticklepath, Spreyton, South Zeal etc etc

Devon Family History Society is great. Zoom meetings a-plenty to feed your family history curiosity, only £12 annual membership! Lots of records available to members. You need to become a member and then register to access the member’s area and sign up for meeting alerts. The Historian Magazine has lots of useful information.

Devon FHS Facebook group again is very helpful for any Devon related family history questions, related to the above but more for day to day questions:
